Summary: The Marketing Manager, New Developments is responsible for creating and implementing marketing strategies to drive awareness, engagement, and sales for new developments. This role involves market research, competitive analysis, and identifying target audiences to craft tailored campaigns. The manager oversees branding, digital and traditional advertising, content creation, and promotional events. Collaboration with cross-functional teams, including sales, product development, and external agencies, is essential to ensure cohesive messaging and successful project launches. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker with a creative mindset, strong leadership skills, and a proven track record of driving marketing initiatives in a dynamic environment.
What you’ll get to do:
Strategic Planning & Innovation:
- Research and recommend innovative marketing activations, leveraging paid, owned, and earned media opportunities.
- Explore additional revenue streams and provide strategic recommendations to Operations and Partnerships teams.
Client Relations & Reporting:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, providing regular updates on project timelines, campaign progress, and key milestones.
- Prepare and present detailed reports on campaign effectiveness, highlighting successes, challenges, and actionable recommendations for optimization.
- Monitor and communicate project schedules to ensure deadlines are met, proactively addressing any potential delays or adjustments.
Brand & Media Strategy:
- Ensure consistent application of the brand across all marketing platforms, including signage, print materials, digital channels, and onsite presentations for new developments.
- Collaborate with the Communications Team to pitch development-specific media and PR opportunities, emphasizing innovation and community engagement.
Campaign Development & Execution:
- Develop and execute monthly digital content calendars, incorporating blogs, social media, videos, photos, and other engaging content formats.
- Collaborate with agencies and vendors to deliver on marketing objectives.
- Design and implement targeted SEO/SEM/PPC, email, and display advertising campaigns to enhance visibility and drive interest in priority projects.
Website & Digital Strategy Management:
- Own and manage the online presence of new developments, including updates to microsites and real estate listing platforms.
Vendor and Budget Management:
- Partner with Operations to establish annual marketing budgets for new developments and ensure alignment with overall project goals and tracking through project lifecycle.
Site Activation & Improvement:
- Conduct site visits to assess marketing opportunities, providing actionable improvement plans for signage, promotional materials, and community appeal.
Marketing Collateral Development:
- Develop and oversee the creation of marketing materials tailored to new developments, including brochures, digital assets, and campaigns designed to attract potential residents.
Community & Influencer Engagement:
- Identify and nurture relationships with key stakeholders to bolster the visibility and reputation of new developments.
Reputation Management & Social Listening:
- Monitor online reputation and social media sentiment for new developments, addressing feedback and inquiries through appropriate channels.
Campaign Reporting & Analytics:
- Collect and analyze quantitative data to measure campaign effectiveness, presenting actionable insights to senior leadership and client groups.
Event Coordination & Collaboration:
- Collaborate with internal teams to organize and execute site launches, open houses, and community engagement events for new developments.
- Work closely with Leasing, Operations, and Communications teams to align marketing efforts with project goals and timelines.
- Assist in preparing submissions for industry awards to highlight the successes of new developments.
Who you are:
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, business administration, or a related field
- Proficiency in MS Office and Yardi is required.
- Minimum five(5) years experience in marketing, ideally within real estate, property development, or a related field.
- Expertise in digital marketing strategies, including SEO/SEM, social media management, PPC campaigns, and content marketing.
- Proficiency with analytics tools (Google Analytics, social listening platforms) and marketing platforms (CMS, email marketing tools).
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with a focus on stakeholder engagement and team leadership.
- Creative problem-solver with a data-driven approach to strategy and decision-making.
