Painter (The Oaks on the Green)

Summary: The Painter will be responsible for enhancing and maintaining the visual appeal of residential suites, buildings and other surfaces. Your expertise will ensure that every space radiates beauty, from patching and refreshing areas in need of attention to adding that perfect coat of paint. As the Painter, you will play a crucial role in transforming the interior and exterior spaces into welcoming, vibrant environments. 

What you’ll get to do: 

• Inspect surfaces to assess the required work and determine the best approach. 
• Handle exterior and interior tasks such as caulking, finish repairs, mudding, taping, and texturing. 
• Use professional painting techniques for smooth, clean finishes. 
• Apply paint, primers, and undercoating materials to various surfaces, including concrete, drywall, and steel. 
• Utilize knowledge of tools, equipment, and materials common to the painting and drywall trade. 
• Apply varnishes and other finishes as needed. 
• Follow all health and safety guidelines to maintain a safe work environment. 

Who You Are: 

• Previous painting experience preferred 
• High school diploma and completion of an apprenticeship 
• Strong knowledge of painting materials and techniques 
• Detail-oriented and excellent communication skills 
• Proficient with paintings tools and equipment (brushes, caulking, etc.) 
• Good manual dexterity and balance for working on scaffolding, ladders etc.
