Greenwin is proud to announce the groundbreaking of our newest project at 50 Wilson Heights Blvd., a key milestone in delivering much-needed housing in Toronto. In partnership with the City of Toronto, CreateTO, KingSett Capital, and Tridel, this development will bring 1,484 homes to the community, offering a mix of affordable and market rental units alongside market condominiums.
Located next to the TTC’s Wilson Station, this transit-oriented development includes:
- 520 affordable rental homes
- 520 market rental homes
- 444 market condominiums
Beyond housing, this site will host a childcare centre, community space for non-profit organizations, commercial/retail spaces, a new park, and public realm enhancements—all designed to foster connection and inclusivity.
This development will also integrate sustainable building practices, including geothermal energy, to reduce its environmental impact and contribute to Toronto's broader climate goals.
Housing Now is a City-led program under Toronto’s HousingTO 2020-2030 Action Plan. By repurposing City-owned land for mixed-income, mixed-use developments near transit, Housing Now addresses Toronto’s housing needs while creating vibrant, connected communities.
Today’s groundbreaking ceremony featured remarks from Mayor Olivia Chow, local Councillor James Pasternak, Greenwin’s President and CEO, Kevin Green, and Emcee Vic Gupta, CreateTO CEO. Together, we celebrated the beginning of a project that will transform an underutilized site into a vibrant community for future generations.
Greenwin is excited to deliver this exciting new development, and we look forward to creating housing solutions that address Toronto’s evolving needs while contributing to a sustainable and inclusive urban future.
