Last week, Team Greenwin had the privilege of attending the FRPO Women in Rental Housing Luncheon, an event that brings together women from across the industry. This event was more than just a networking opportunity; it was a powerful reminder of the importance of community, support, and the collective strength of women in the workplace.

The luncheon provided a platform to discuss key issues that impact women in our industry. Our very own Ossana Ber, Manager of Community Engagement, proudly represented Greenwin on a panel alongside other female leaders, Anannya Biswas, National Marketing Manager, Metro Compactor Service Inc. and Sam Amin, Senior Product Marketing Manager, Learn Docebo. Moderated by Brandi McIlvenny Clarke, Founder and Chief Executive Officer, Brandi Clarke Consulting, they unpacked crucial industry statistics and findings related to women in the workplace, delving into topics such as burnout, how we can better support one another, and the areas where we are thriving, as well as those where there is room for improvement.

One of the most poignant moments of the day came from a session led by Victim Services, where we learned about the harsh realities of human trafficking and gender-based violence. The stories shared were deeply moving, reinforcing the urgent need for continued advocacy and support for victims within and beyond our industry.

At Greenwin, we are committed to fostering a workplace that embraces diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI). Events like this luncheon are vital in driving these conversations forward, ensuring that we continue to create environments where all voices are heard and valued.

We extend our heartfelt thanks to Lynzi and the FRPO team for organizing such a meaningful event. It is through these gatherings that we can continue to uplift one another and work towards a more inclusive and supportive industry.
