Today we would like to share the story of Nikki Guzzo, Director, Leasing:
I started with Greenwin in 2013 as a Marketing Assistant. Over the years, I've had the opportunity to grow and develop, eventually stepping into my current role as Director, Leasing. This progression was made possible by the guidance provided by Greenwin, helping me to pursue and achieve my career goals.
One of the things I love the most about Greenwin is the fact that it is a family business. This is something that I pridefully share during the hiring process when interviewing potential new Greenwin team members. I love the fact that I have the opportunity to work alongside and collaborate with some of the core Green family members, getting a firsthand glimpse of the genuine care they have for this company and the communities that we serve.
Balancing my career and family life has been an adventure in itself. I am a mom of two girls, age 4 and 2.5, and I have always strived to be both a dedicated mother and a committed working professional. There's often a misconception that moms can't do both, but my journey at Greenwin has proven otherwise. I have always been made to feel that my family life comes first, allowing me to maintain a healthy balance. This flexibility has been invaluable, allowing me to meet my professional responsibilities without compromising on family time.
One of my proudest achievements this year was completing the lease-up for 90 Carling St. in Hamilton. This project was a significant undertaking and seeing it through to completion was truly exciting. I had the privilege of working with a fantastic team, and I look forward to tackling many more projects with them in the future.
I've also been fortunate to establish and maintain friendships over the years, even with those who have moved on to other companies. Watching my colleagues grow into their roles in the 11 years I’ve been here has been inspiring, and I'm proud that so many of us have been able to do it side by side.
