Today, we’re sharing the story of Samer Taleb, Director, Operations:

I started my journey with Greenwin over a decade ago as a Resident Service Manager and Assistant Property Manager. Since then, I've had the opportunity to grow and take on different roles, from Senior Property Manager to General Manager, and now Director, Residential Operations. This progression gave me a deep understanding of property management and strengthened my passion for improving the resident experience.

What brings me the most joy in my role is seeing the tangible improvements we make to our properties and the positive impact these changes have on our residents. Whether it’s completing a major renovation or hosting a community event, the smiles on residents' faces remind me why we do what we do. One of my proudest moments was completing a large renovation project that involved upgrading the infrastructure, common areas, and individual units. Despite the challenges, we finished on time and on budget. The gratitude from residents made it all worthwhile and was a true testament to our team’s dedication.

Greenwin’s culture is something I value deeply. It's collaborative, supportive, and truly resident-focused. We work together to solve problems and ensure that our residents’ needs are always prioritized. Our community involvement is another aspect of the culture that I love. Whether it's a resident appreciation day or a charity event, these activities not only enhance the resident experience but also bring our team closer together. One of my favourites is our annual holiday food drive, where we come together to support those in need—it's a powerful reminder of the community spirit that drives Greenwin.

Working for a family business like Greenwin adds a unique layer to the experience. There's a strong sense of legacy here, and I appreciate the personal investment the Green family has in the success of the company. The family atmosphere extends to all of us, making it a supportive and motivating place to work. I've also been fortunate to develop lifelong friendships with my colleagues, and I owe much of my growth to the guidance of mentors like Murray Osterer, our VP of Residential Operations, whose support has been invaluable throughout my career.

This year, I’m particularly proud of our team’s work in improving our resident engagement, which is evident with the increase in positive Google reviews. We've focused on improving communication, promptly addressing maintenance issues, and organizing community events, all of which have contributed to a noticeable boost in resident satisfaction. The influx of positive reviews not only highlights our commitment to quality service but also serves as a public testament to the hard work we’ve put in to ensure our residents feel heard, valued, and cared for.
