Greenwin is proud to announce the successful completion of a major capital expenditure (CAPEX) renovation project of over $150,000 of upgrades at 2160 Lakeshore Rd. in Burlington and 2220 Marine Dr. in Oakville, oversaw by Duncan Curtis, P.Eng., Project Manager – Capital Projects & Asset Enhancement, Liya Abbasova, MBA, Director, Residential Operations, and Susanna Ash, Senior Procurement Manager, in partnership with GWL Realty Advisors. This milestone underscores the expertise and innovative approach of our recently introduced Capital Projects and Asset Enhancement Department, broadening Greenwin’s verticals to include fully integrated internal management of these initiatives.
From project initiation to final delivery, our Capital Projects and Asset Enhancement Department worked closely with our Operations Department to ensure the project was completed on time and within budget. By leveraging in-house expertise and streamlining decision-making, the team achieved significant cost efficiencies and completed the project in just three months. This efficient and resourceful approach allowed us to deliver a transformation that elevates the living experience for residents at both properties.
At 2160 Lakeshore Rd. in Burlington, the enhancements include redesigned outdoor spaces with seating areas featuring fireplaces, a canoe and kayak rack for lakefront convenience, and a bocce ball court—all fostering relaxation and community engagement. The lobby and corridors have been revitalized with a refined gold and white colour palette, enhanced lighting, and a new fireplace to create an upscale ambiance. Elevator lobbies now feature a polished white finish accented by stunning imported Italian marble, while unit entryways have been updated with modern lighting and carpeting.
At 2220 Marine Dr. in Oakville, interior enhancements include a refreshed fitness facility and an upgraded lounge with new seating, a countertop, and added conveniences such as a mini fridge and microwave. The corridors have been modernized with updated lighting, new carpeting, and finishes that reflect the charm of the lakefront community.
